Terms and conditions

We ask all guests to carefully read listing info before booking to ensure properties are suitable for your party. Please reach out if you have any queries.

Check-in time is after 3pm unless otherwise agreed.

Check-out time is strictly 10am. Please leave the house in an organised state. We reserve the right to charge additional cleaning fees for unarranged late check out or properties left in a poor state.

No smoking is allowed on any of our premises. A minimum fee of NZD 200 will be charged for the fumigation of the property if evidence of smoking indoors.

Damages must be paid for by the guest. Any damage, noise complaints, lost keys or issues caused by the guests that require our time will be charged to the guest at a rate of NZD 60 p/h + cost to repair/replace. Including any call outs that result in wasted time.

All parties must be accompanied by an adult over 25. We reserve the right to vet guests & obtain photographic ID from all party members. The number of guests cannot exceed the amount on booking. The lead guest on reservation must be present.

Pets are not allowed in any of our properties unless stated in the listing.

Excessive noise outdoors is not permitted between the hours of 10pm - 7am. Any complaints for excessive noise will incur a minimum call out fee of NZD 100.

Parties or large gatherings are not permitted on our premises.

We expect our guests to vacate the property in an orderly manner. No furniture should be rearranged, nothing removed from the property, all rubbish should be placed in the appropriate bins & keys left back in the lockbox.

All property on the premises is owned by Bees & the property owner. All linen is hired by a 3rd party. Linen will be counted on exit and any missing or damaged items will be charged to the guest.

Bees have the right to evict guests at any point if they do not adhere to house rules. Any evidence of illegal activity will be dealt with by the Police. Fees for management time & inconvenience will be charged. No refunds will be given.

A pre auth charge of up to $1,000 (amount noted on check out) will be placed on your card 2 days before check out. This is a security bond which will be held and released automatically 5 days after check out if no damages occur. If damages occur we have the right to hold the damage deposit. 

LIABILITY

As our guest, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your party and any personal belongings. All doors and windows must be locked when exiting the premises. We do not accept any liability for theft or damage on site.

Bees will not be held liable for any injuries, loss or claims during your stay. It is the responsibility of each guest to ensure the health & safety of any children/party members.

We do not accept any liability for bookings affected by ‘force majeure” events. Ie any events that are unpredictable and out of our control (pandemic, war, acts of God, travel disruptions etc).

Please note all accommodation rates and any additional fees stated above or during correspondence are in New Zealand Dollars and will include an additional 15% Goods and Service Tax (GST).

By placing a booking with us you agree to our T&C’s stated above. All house rules must be adhered to or excess fees stated will apply.

CANCELLATIONS

We advise all guests to have appropriate travel insurance and ensure they are comfortable with our cancellation policy. We will not be held liable for any cancellations out of our control.
